Sharon Eline Johnson, 75, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at her Clermont home with her family at her side.
Sharon was born September 19, 1947, in Roseau, Minnesota to Warner and Gina Mickelson. Sharon loved growing up with her two older brothers and helping on the farm. Sharon much preferred to spend her days baling hay with her father rather than sit indoors.
In 1969 Sharon graduated from St. Barnabas School of Nursing and began working as a registered nurse.
Sharon married Delbert "Del" Johnson on August 26, 1967. The two were each other's lifelong companions and friends, often traveling and seeing the world together. They were blessed with two sons, Travis and David.
Sharon worked as a labor and delivery nurse throughout the twin cities of Minnesota and throughout central Florida for forty years, and was known by her colleagues as a wise and kind woman who exuded love to all in her care.
Sharon's hobbies included traveling, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Delbert "Del" Johnson; son Travis Johnson and his wife Jennifer Johnson; son David Johnson and his wife Lisa Johnson; six grandchildren, Dallas Johnson, Harrison Johnson, Anthony Arzillo, Alyssandra Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson, and Samuel Johnson; one great-granddaughter, Madeline Johnson; and brother Garland Mickelson and his wife Janice Mickelson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Warner Mickelson; mother, Gina Mickelson; and brother, Orville Mickelson.
Sharon especially will be remembered for her beautiful smile, zest for life, and caring spirit, which served to love and nurture everyone she met.
