Sarah Joann Cooper, affectionately know as "Sally" age 77 of Clermont passed away November 17, 2010 at South Lake Hospital. She was born June 26, 1934 in Berlin, PA daughter of Myers Emerson Knepper & Olive Pearl Shrock Knepper. On July 21, 1957 she was united in marriage to Jere Nelson Cooper. She was a third grade school teacher for the Hempfield School District in Landisville. PA. A local resident since 2002 from Lancaster, PA, she was active in her church, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church where she was a member of the choir, Virginia Circle, Lunch Bunch, Prayer Shawls and Lay Reader. Surviving is her husband Jere; children and their spouses, Michelle Cooper (Julia Simmons) of Dillsboro, NC & Dave (Anne) Cooper, Clermont; grandchildren Colden & Morah Stefanisko & Emily & Sophia Cooper & brother James (Darlene) Knepper, Summerset, PA.



The memorial service for Sally Cooper will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, November 22, 2010 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Pastor Jonathan C. Ostenburg will officiate.  Inurnment will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
