Our beloved wife and mother Sarah Mae Beechler, a Dexter, Michigan and Clermont resident, passed away December 31 ^st , 2017.  She was born August 15 ^th , 1934 in Saginaw Michigan.  On July 23 ^rd 1955 she married the love of her life, Duane and was happily married for 62 years.  Sarah received a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Saginaw General Hospital and started her career there. Over a course of 40 years, she worked at two hospitals, two doctors' offices and ended her career at Park Davis/ Warner Lambert where she ended up managing the Pharmaceutical Research Clinic.  She was pivotal in the design and setup of the clinic when it was built, an accomplishment she was very proud of.  And all the while, with the help of her loving husband, she raised four children.

She loved to golf with her husband and was on two women's golf league's and even got a hole-in-one in 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents Marjorie and William Merrick, a sister Betty Jean and a loving son Jeffery Duane. Surviving is her husband Duane, daughter Carol (Doug) Brenke, son Gregory (Becky) Beechler, daughter Pam (Barry) Piper and, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Sarah will be remember for her warm heart, her love of God, her contiguous laughter, her sense of humor and loving outlook toward her family and many friends.

There will be a Memorial service Saturday January 6 ^th , 2018 at Emerald Lake Clubhouse at 11:00am. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis Schmidt of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

We will deeply miss our wife and mother and she may be gone, but she is in our hearts forever.
