Sandra "Sandi" Pape King Ondersma, 55, of Ocoee, FL, tragically passed away at her home on May 17, 2024. Born on July 21, 1968, in Benton, IL, she was a selfless, compassionate caregiver who loved fiercely.

Sandi became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2004 and later graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute with her Associate of Science in Nursing on July 21, 2015, to fulfill her dreams of being a Registered Nurse. For two decades, she worked tirelessly and with sincere dedication to her patients. She passed this passion for people on to her daughter, who also became a Registered Nurse. Her compassion, love, and soft-spoken nature were infectious.

She loved the outdoors, and one of her favorite places to be was On The Mountain in North Carolina with her family. She was drawn to horses and loved riding and being in their presence. She was handy with many things and was never afraid to tackle any project; her father, Lee, nicknamed her "Handi". She was equal parts angel and superhero.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Ondersma; her daughter, Samantha Muhlbach and son-in-law, Ryan Muhlbach; her nephew, Gabriel Pape (whom she raised as her son); her stepdaughters, Chrystin Ondersma, Erin Farias, Brooke Ondersma, and Lauren Ondersma; her mother, Lynn Armitage; her grandchildren, Aiden and Annaleigh Muhlbach; her sisters, Cindy Spitzer and Emma Pape DeLong, and her brother, Mikey Pape.

A Celebration of Life will be held for her on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11:00am. All
