Sam Wheeler, 67, of Clermont, FL, passed away late Saturday June 29th, peacefully in his sleep. Sam was a long time resident of Lake County spending most of his time in the Jack's Lake Community. He was a graduate of Colonial High School in Orlando Fl. He received his Associates degree in communications at Palm Beach Junior College in Lake Worth Fl. He was passionate about his work and proud of the opportunities he had though out his long career in Florida.

He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Carden Wheeler in 1991 & parents Roman Tasker and Deloris Berlin Wheeler of Blairsville GA. He is survived by his daughter and her husband Tracie and Jason Love and two grandchildren Nicholas and Austin Love of Woodstock GA & his son and daughter in law Joshua and Chelsie Wheeler of Cartersville GA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday July 6th at Becker Funeral home. The family will receive family and friends from 2-3 PM with a service following at 3PM. If you would like to send flowers please send to Becker Funeral Home in Clermont.
