Sadie Orvale Zezza, affectionately known as Sally, age 83, Clermont, FL passed away February 14, 2015 at home with family at her bedside and under the care of Good Shepherd Hospice. She was born August 29, 1931 in Meyersdale, PA one of sixteen children born to Grace Mae Beale & David Paul Gerhard. A central Florida resident since 1989 from Monroeville, PA, she and her husband Lou were active members of St. Faustina Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Paul Zezza on December 30, 2014 and by eleven of her siblings. Surviving are her children Jack Berkstresser, Carol Ann Berkstresser, Geraldine Offenbach & David Yenchi all of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings Irene Nesbit, Arnold, PA; Mrs. Lloyd (Florence) Divelbiss, Clermont; Mrs. Thomas (Marcella) Giles Burdell, AZ & James Gerhard, East Pittsburgh, PA; nieces & nephews.



The funeral service for Mrs. Zezza was held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2015 in the Becker Chapel. Chaplain McCurdy of Good Shepherd Hospice officiated. Burial was held at 10:30 AM on Monday, February 16, 2015 in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, next to her beloved Lou.
