Ruth Mehr Santoro, 71, Clermont, passed away June 5, 2011 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. She was born December 5, 1939 in Brookly, NY daughter of Thorvald & Signe Ulin Mehr. On October 17, 1959 she was united in marriage to Marco Santoro in Wyandanch, Long Island. She was a homemaker and and an Orlando resident since 1964 from North Babylon, NY prior to relocating to Clermont. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church & Kings Ridge Women's Club. She was preceded in death by 5 siblings. Surviving is her husband Marco Santoro; daughters Debbie (Jim) Ridley, Cairo, GA; Marie (Matthew) Clark, Orlando &  Susan (Todd) Reffitt, Clermont; grandchildren Marc, Kimberly, Shanna, Tiffani & Jason; great-grandchildren Justin, Hayden & Leeland & siblings Geroge, Charles & Bobby Mehr; Petra Sinsgalli & Signe Gary.



Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Cromwell Cabrisos as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Woodlwan Memorial Park in Gotha, FL. Visitation will be from 5-8 on Monday, June 6, 2011. The family suggests memorial contributions in her name to the Mike Conley Hospice House.
