Rubén Colón Santiago, de 77 años, residente de Clermont, Florida, falleció pacíficamente el 12 de Agosto de 2025. Estuvo rodeado de sus hijas y seres queridos. Nació el 19 de marzo de 1948 en Cidra, Puerto Rico. Rubén fue un padre, abuelo, amigo y siervo del Señor excepcional.

Rubén dedicó su vida a ayudar a los demás, haciendo bromas, entrenando y corriendo maratones, artesania de  cuero, amaba la música, el baile, amaba a sus hijas, nietos, amigos y, lo más importante, a servir a Dios. Conocido por su humor, bondad y generosidad, tocó innumerables vidas con su sonrisa, sabiduría, calidez y consejos.

Tuvo tres hermosas hijas: Maribelle Colón, Lisbelle Thompson y Michelle Hernández; seis nietos: Irving Rodríguez, Melvin Hernández, Cristian Hernández, Mariah Thompson, Lexi Thompson y Anthony Hernández Colón; y dos bisnietos: Elián Daniel Hernández Varela y Andrés Yadiel Hernández Varela.

Se llevará a cabo una celebración de la vida de Rubén el 16 de agosto en Becker Funeral Home, ubicada en 806 W Minneola Ave, Clermont, FL 34711 a partir de las 12 p. m. hasta las 5 p. m.

Ruben Colon Santiago, 77, of Clermont, Fl, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025. He was surrounded by his daughters and loved ones. Born on March 19, 1948 in Cidra, Puerto Rico. Ruben was an amazing father, grandfather, friend and a servant of the Lord.

Ruben dedicated his life to helping others, making jokes, training and running marathons, leather crafting, loved music, dancing, loving his daughters, grandchildren, friends and most importantly, serving God. Known for his humor
kindness and generosity. He touched countless lives with his smile, wisdom warmth and advise.

He had three beautiful daughters, Maribelle Colon, Lisbelle Thompson and Michelle Hernandez. Six Grandchildren, Irving Rodriguez, Melvin Hernandez, Cristian Hernandez, Mariah Thompson, Lexi Thompson and Anthony Hernandez Colon. Two great grandchildren, Elian Daniel Hernandez Varela and Andres Yadiel Hernandez Varela.

A celebration of Ruben's life will be held on August 16 at Becker Funeral Home located at 806 W Minneola Ave, Clermont, FL 34711 starting at 12pm to 5 pm.
