Roy T. Miceli, 78, died peacefully in is sleep on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Roy was born April 15, 1945 in Solvay, NY, a son of the late Joseph and Fay Miceli. He graduated from Solvay High School and then served 5 1/2 years in the USMC reserves in the 8th tank battalion, cherishing his role as cook.

Roy was employed by Solvay Bakery for 12 years. He was next employed by Niagara Mohawk Power for 31 years, working a variety of jobs including substation meter and test, and as a travelling operator.

On June 5, 1971 Roy married the love of his life, Marge.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter,  Elizabeth (Brian) of Wesley Chapel, FL and son, Joseph of Solvay, NY, and four grandchildren: Caleb, Isabella, Cassandra and Alexander, his brother Carmen, sister Joanne, and several nieces and nephews.

Roy spent his retirement winters in Clermont, FL where he loved the community and sunshine. He spoke fondly of both.
Over the span of Roy's rich life his interests evolved from motorcycles and boating to golf, history, chair-caining, bird-watching, and handy-man repairs for friends and family.
