Roy M. Franklin, 84, Groveland, passed away December 22, 2013 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. He was born June 29, 1929 in Fort Cobb, OK son of Lilah Gladys Browne & Raymond Earl Franklin. On June 10, 1953 he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Madison in St. Cloud, FL. A retired Master Sergeant in the US Air Force, he served during the Korean Conflict & Vietnam and relocated to central Florida in 1971. He was a member of Tuscanooga Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife Mary Ann; sons Michael Franklin & wife Michele of Groveland & Mark Franklin, Bushnell; grandchildren Danielle Franklin & Kevin Franklin; great-grandchildren Mia & Reese & sister Mary Mills & husband Eddie of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The funeral service for Roy Franklin will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Tuscanooga Baptist church with Reverend James Madison officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscanooga Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. The family suggests contributions to the church in lieu of flowers.
