Rosemary Jane Yoder, age 80, of Clermont, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Clermont, Florida. She was born on January 5, 1939 in Pigeon Grove, Illinois to Joseph and Bertha Hofer. She attended Watseka High School, graduating in 1956. Rosemary met Elden Yoder in Watseka, Illinois in 1958 and they were married on April 18, 1959 in Eureka, Illinois. She worked as an office administrator for Econ-o-Cloth. Rosemary was a member of the First United Methodist Church Clermont and the Sews and Sews Quilt group.
She enjoyed quilting, knitting and crocheting. She proudly served her community at the First Methodist Church Clermont where she was involved with the ladies' social group and could always be counted on to help fold the weekly church bulletins. Rosemary adored cats, spoiling her own rotten! She enjoyed cooking for her family. Her specialties were fried chicken, beef and made from scratch noodles, banana cake and fruit pies. Rosemary also loved watching television. Some of her favorite shows were The Steve Harvey Show, The Bachelorette, game shows and old movies. She was a fan of the Golden State Warriors and Steph Curry. Rosemary loved and adored her family, when she was spending time with them, she was truly happy.
Rosemary is survived by her daughter Suzanne (Robert) Lankford, son Daniel Yoder, sister Judy Thomsen (Glen), grandchildren; Michael Lankford, Kelly Climer (Adam), and Rebekah Lankford, two great-grandchildren; Emerson Climer and Elliot Climer, and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Elden Yoder in 2007, father Joseph, mother Bertha, brother Charles, sister Jean Tuttle and daughter-in-law Dena Yoder.
