Chamberlain
February 15, 1927 – March 12, 2022
Rosemary Klinkhamer Chamberlain, age 95, passed peacefully in her sleep at her home in Clermont, FL on March 12, 2022. She was a former resident of Chalmers, IN. Her long-desired final dwelling place, however, was to be with the Lord Jesus Christ!
Rosemary was born February 15, 1927 to the late Guy and Edna Deckard Klinkhamer. Following her father's death when she was five years old, her mother remarried the late John Watts. They were wonderful Godly parents.
Rosemary attended Chalmers High School where she was a cheerleader for four years, graduating in 1946.
Rosemary married Don M. Chamberlain on February 27, 1948 in White County, IN, and celebrated 66 years of marriage. Don was a retired veteran, school bus driver, farmer for 20 years, and retired from Standard Oil Company in 1989. During those farming years, Rosemary was a homemaker raising their three children, David Ross, Sandra Lee and Don Edward. Later she worked at the White County Clerk's Office under Katie Wolf, then retiring from CTS Corporation in Lafayette, IN.
Rosemary and Don were active members of Baptist Bible Church in Chalmers, Indiana. While wintering in Clermont, FL, they became members of Open Door Baptist Church. In 2008, the couple permanently moved to Clermont, FL to live with their daughter Sandy (Chamberlain) Matlack and son-in-law Ty Matlack, who both survive.
Preceding her in death: Son David Ross Chamberlain, 2005, at age 55; Husband Don Milton Chamberlain, 2014, at age 88; Son Don Edward Chamberlain, 2016, at age 59.
Also surviving are four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren: Grandson Drew Michael Dolick of Indianapolis, IN, and great-grandson Keaton Dolick; Granddaughter Danielle Dolick Moran (Spencer) of Thornton, CO, and great-grandchildren Alexandria and Kian; Granddaughter Stacey Chamberlain Young (Rob) of Indianapolis, IN, and great-grandchildren Calvin, Pearl and Marcus; Granddaughter Nicole Chamberlain Schroeder (Bill) of Reynolds, IN, and great-grandchildren Makayla, Mason, Makenzie & Megan.
