Rose Scarangella passed away on June 28 2025. Rose Scarangella was born in the Bronx, NY on December 17,1934 to Italian immigrants, parents Antonio and Sofia Vega. She relocated from New Rochelle, NY, with her husband, Dominick, to Clermont, FL in the 1990's.She is survived by nephews Vincent Zanfordino, Daniel Heftler, nieces Sophia Heftler and Gloria Bernard . She was preceded by her parents, Antonio and Sofia Vega, brothers, Armando, Yennie and Joseph Vega, sister Josephine Lagana, and husband, Dominick Scarangella.

The family would like to thank the nursing and physician staff of South Lake Hospital and Cornerstone Orlando Hospice for providing excellent care to Rose Scarangella. Visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, July 26, 2025, 10am, followed by a Requiem Mass at 11am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Florida National Cemetery on July 28, 2025.
