Rosana Queen Knight, age 90, of Mascotte, FL and a lifelong area resident, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at home with her family at her bedside and under the care of hospice. She was born May 20, 1927 in Bay Lake, daughter of Alba Pearl Ribblett and James David Todd, Sr. On December 15, 1962, she was united in marriage to Harold Morton Knight in Mascotte. She was a cafeteria worker in the local Groveland schools. In
addition to her parents and husband, Harold, who died August 2, 2013, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Tom, Jack, Joe, Bob, Paul and Jim Todd and sisters; Mae Lanier, Marie Nelms, Fannie Davis and Susie Logdson. Surviving are her sister, Odessa Parsons; daughter, Cheryl (husband Richard) Krusell; grandchildren, Christopher (wife Natalie) Krusell; Jamie Krusell and Amy (husband Aric) McFarlane; great grandchildren, Courtney Locke, Anthony McFarlane, Brock Krusell, Jacob Krusell and Joey Garrick, IV; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Knight will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at The Mascotte Church (formerly Mascotte United Methodist Church) with Pastor Bill Bernior officiating. Burial will follow in Empire Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Becker Funeral Home in Clermont. Following the burial, friends are invited to a reception in The Mascotte Church Social Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Compassionate Care Hospice, 241 E.
