Ronald Robert Hearn, Sr., 76, of Clermont, FL passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. Ronald was born on July 1, 1937 in Leominster, MA, the son of John and Lottie (nee Burke) Hearn. He worked and retired from the Pratt Whitney Corporation after 35 years, becoming a Senior Account Executive. Ronald also owned and operated the Hearn's Driving School in Tolland, CT. Following retirement he and his wife moved to Clermont in 2002. Ronald served in the U.S. Navy and spent time aboard the USS Ticonderoga. He attended Family Christian Center, Clermont and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.



Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; children, Ronald, Jr. and wife Nicole of Miami, FL, Deborah, Bobby and Kim all of CT; step-children, Roy of OH, Tonya of OK and William of TX; brother, Bill Hearn of Tavares, FL; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.



Services with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 30, 2013 at Florida National Cemetery. The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorials in Ronald's name to the Mike Conley Hospice House, Clermont.
