Ronald Frank aka "Butch" Carden
November 6, 1941 - February 27, 2023
Ron passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family in Clermont, FL. Born in Eustis, FL, Ron was an avid dove hunter, fisherman, golfer and die hard Florida Gator. He moved to Clermont in 1960 and was a graduate of Clermont High School Highlanders in 1961. After his 2 year service in the United States Army, Ron returned to Clermont where he was introduced to Leslie Murdock by his beloved friend, Max Judy. Ron and Leslie married in 1967 and they had 2 daughters.
Ron was a hard working Citrus man including watermelons for 35 years and was successful in Real Estate in South Lake County. He went on to marry the love of his life and high school sweetheart Jessica "Seca" Johnson in June of 1988.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife Seca Clermont, daughter Kelly Carden Pitcher Clermont, Kimberly Carden McMurphy (Mark) Clermont, son Jason Morgan (Patty) Gotha, baby sister Nellesia Hoffman (Kevin) of Illinois, 7 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren.
