Obituary

Ronald Craig Beighley was born on July 23, 1949 in Connellsville Pennsylvania. Ron is survived by his wife Diana (Scott), Beighley, daughters: Deana Gonzales (Eric) and Tiffany Archambault (Tom) all of Clermont. Ron had the ability to know and love his three grandchildren Mitchell Gonzales, Payton Archambault and Briana Archambault. Preceded in death by both his mother and father. He was the oldest son of Stanley and Marjorie Beighley, and big brother to Scott Beighley and Jane Ann (Beighley) Barbee of Akron Ohio. A 1967 graduate of Cuyohoga Falls high school. Ron and his family moved to Clermont in The spring of 79. As a proud Clermont resident Ron served on several civic groups, community committees and was a huge supporter of several Youth programs. He served as league president for Clermont Girls Softball, Clermont Youth Football and coached for the YMCA Basketball along with organizing men's church leagues. Ron took great pride in the original Clermont Highlanders and started a local trophy and screen printing sports store so that Highlander pride could be marketed to the fullest. To everyone Ron was a friend. He didn't know a stranger. To many Ron was known for being the fun guy. He was witty and used that in every situation- right up to his final days in hospice. Son, brother, coach, clown or friend. The role Ron played the best was devoted Husband and dad. On October 3rd, 1970 Ron and Diana were married. Together they spent their years serving the community together. Their hearts and their home over flowed with love and they served as local foster parents for eight years- providing a safe and loving home to so many. As a father, Ron taught his girls what a good leader, role model, man and husband should be by living by example every day. Ron's dream was to become a professional volunteer-

Arrangements are:

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Woodlands Lutheran Church in Montverde.
