Obituary

Rocky Allen Kent was born March 12, 1958 to Ronald Kent and Dixie Annajean (Curtis) Kirlin in Seattle, Washington.  He passed away February 20, 2021 in Davenport, Florida several weeks after contracting the Covid-19 virus.


He attended schools in Burien, Washington later joining the Army for nearly 21 years of serive and retiring as a Staff Sargeant in the Army.  He retired a year after working for the Department of Defense in Missouri as the Victor's Center Operator in Fort Leonard Wood.


His is survived by his wife, Min and daugthers, Mingee (Phillip) Cassar and Lilian Kent; granddaughter, Kayleigh Cassar; sister Ronda (Richard) Heyn, of Arizona; brothers, Chuck (Tess) Kent of Burien WA, John (Joni) Kent of Graham, WA; half-brothers, Jim Kent of Springfield IL, Cliff Kent of Quincy, IL,  Michael (Jean) Kent of Quincy, IL, 24 nieces and nephews, and 13 great-nieces and nephews.


Preceding him in death is daughter, Mincha; mother, Dixie Kirlin; dad, Courtney Kirlin; brother, Dawian Kirlin; and father, Ron Kent.
