VELTING - Robert "Bob" L. Velting, aged 71, of Clermont, FL; formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly with his beloved dog Molly, on December 5, 2018. Bob Loved his family and fast cars. He was a member of a Mopar Car Club and enjoyed attending car shows. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; son, Robert "Bobby" Velting; and parents, Dorothy and Clarence "Red" Velting. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Russell "Rusty" Velting, Tim (Melody) Robach, Jim (Stacey) Velting, Thomas Robach, Tammy (Darreyl) Porter; grandchildren, Tyler, Brittaney, Brooke (Austin), Hailey (Zack), Darian, Ally, Courtney, Jenna, Caylon, Madison; great grandchildren, Levi and Blaire; brothers and sisters, Teri Wargel, Chuck (Vicky) Velting, Robin (Jennifer) Kinnear, Tim (Holly) Velting, John Velting, Reta (Ed) Elenbaas, William (Ginny) Velting; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Stroo Funeral Home. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
