Robert Morris Stofle, affectionately known as "Morris", age 75, Clermont, passed away November 4, 2012 at home. He was born December 23, 1936 in McKenzie, TN son of the late Morie Elizabeth Algea & Robert Albert Stofle. He received his undergraduate degree from Bethal College in McKenzie, TN and was an Orlando resident since 1961. On August 12, 1965 he was united in marriage to Saundra S. Keesee in Orlando. He received his Master's degree from UCF graduating in the first Master's class at the university. Mr. Stofle taught school at Evans, Meadowbrook & retired from Boone High School, relocating to Clermont 20 years ago. He enjoyed fishing, scuba diving & college football, especially the Seminoles. His beloved son Michael Stofle preceded him in death on October 1, 2009. Surviving are his wife, Saundra; cousins, Katherine Wardlow & family of Jackson, TN & Dr. Billy Algea& family of Memphis, TN; sister-in-law, Clara Lambie Fry & husband Randy of Wayne, WV; nieces, Amy Ford and family of Sevierville, TN & Jessica Smith and family of Wayne, WV; nephew, Captain Joshua Fry, USAF and family of Winnepeg, Canada & many, many friends who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, November 8, 2012 followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 9, 2012, both at the funeral home.
