Robert Harold "Bob" Smith, born on October 21, 1943 in Richmond Hills, Queens, NY, passed away peacefully at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL on May 22, 2021. Bob graduated from Holy Child Jesus Catholic Academy and became employed with New York City Police Department after soul searching for 2 years. He retired on disability to Orange Park, FL after nearly 20 years of service and frequented tennis courts and clubs in the area for over 20 years. Throughout his life, he demonstrated a passion for health, technology, and investing. Beloved husband of Idalia; loving father of Charissa, Remington and his wife Casey; devoted grandfather of Remi; loving brother of Lorraine, Jo Ann, and their family. Friends are welcome for visitation from 12 to 2 PM Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Becker Funeral Home.
