Robert Howard Rolfes, 96, of Clermont, FL passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. Robert was born on January 3, 1918 in Toledo, OH, the son of Arnold and Charlotte (nee Egger) Rolfes. He resided in Clermont since 1980 previously living in Michigan and was retired from real estate sales. Robert served in the U.S. Army during World War II and also as a volunteer fireman for the town of Trilby, OH. He was a very devoted and proud resident of the Emerald Lakes Community while he lived here in Clermont.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Judy (Keith) Westphal and Patricia Hawkins; sister, Carolyn Bremer and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorene in September of 2005.
