Robert William Popovits

Robert was born and raised in Chicago, IL and has been a resident of Clermont, FL for the past 19 years. Bob was a longtime resident of the Clermont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he was given the most excellent care and was loved by all.

Bob loved sports, family, and community. He enjoyed both softball and football in his community, first as a player of each sport, and later as a referee and umpire, sharing his love and passion, and acting as a mentor for the next generation.

Robert was a true family man. Beloved husband of 60 years of Lorraine Popovits, devoted father of Lynette (Thomas) Crawford and Dennis (partner - Linda) Popovits, and loving grandfather of Tommy, Trevor, Kristy, Katie, and Melissa.
