Robert Slade Mott, 85, Clermont, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012. He was born July 14, 1926 in Griffin, GA and spent his childhood in Savannah, GA. He graduated with an engineering degree from Georgia Tech and worked for Lockheed-Martin for over 30 years until retirement. He raised his family in Clermont, FL. Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Fay; sons John Robert Mott and wife Jill, Oakland, CA; James Steven Mott and Pam Earls, Merritt Island FL; daughter Diane Mott Pruitt and husband Jerry, Gainesville, FL; grandchildren Dana Mott, Brian & Andrew Pruitt and great-grandson Zachary Pruitt.



Cremation will be followed by a memorial to be held at a later date.
