Robert "Bob" Peter Byrne, 91, of Clermont, FL passed away on March 22, 2024.

He was born January 1, 1933, in Jersey City, NJ. Bob served 20 years in the US Air Force and with the NSA as a Russian Linguist. He spent many years in Churchville, PA where he had a second career as a computer analyst after receiving a BS degree from LaSalle University before retiring to Clermont, FL.

Bob was an avid reader and loved working on his genealogy for both his family and as a volunteer for Ancestry for many years. He put family first always and was a wonderful father and Pop-Pop. He was very proud of being a Master Sergeant in the Air Force and loved our country.

Bob was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 60 years, Eileen Byrne. He was also preceded in death by his son David Robert Byrne. Bob is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Mark Koury, and beloved granddaughter, Elena Koury.

A funeral mass will be held at 1PM on April 10, 2024, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Wounded Warrior Project.
