Robert J. Bellucci, 76 years old, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2023. His devoted wife of 50 years, Darlene, was by his side as he battled health issues for the past 3 years. He was in the comfort of his home in Clermont, FL, with his wife beside him at the time of passing.

Most often referred to as Bob, Bobby, Bubs, Beluch, Dad and Grampy, he was a special person who unconditionally loved his family and close friends. He was born in Rome, Italy and grew up in Syracuse, NY. He married Darlene on August 5th, 1972 in Syracuse, where he raised his family and worked at National Grid for 30+ years. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. He spent the past 20 years retired in Clermont, FL with his wife, and daughter's family nearby.

Bob had a love for traveling with his wife, a passion for drawing, and was a dedicated SU fan. He enjoyed an occasional Manhattan with close friends, listening to music, playing cards at the clubhouse and watching his grandsons play sports. He also found pleasure in golfing and playing pool. He had a goofy personality and told the best "dad" jokes to make his grandsons laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Bellucci; his daughters, Heather (Stephen) Schwanke and Jaime (Carlos) Guzman; his five grandsons, Connor, Brayden, Anderson, Caden and Bryson; and his sister Robin (Ronald) Mastrocola. He was preceded in death by his parents Matthew and Bianca Bellucci.

Bob loved so selflessly and we are grateful for the lifelong happy memories he gave us. The lessons he taught us will always be remembered, and he will be missed dearly.

A Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 1pm.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
