Obituary

Sam Wayt (May 4, 1951- February 22, 2013) was born in Kokomo, Indiana; and grew up in Indianapolis. He also resided for fifteen years in Fresno, California where he was an associate pastor. He was the proud father of seven children (Sean Wayt, Jeremy Wayt, Joe Wayt, Jason Wayt, Michael Wayt, Aimee Wayt and Aaron Wayt). He had five grandchildren as well, and he loved each one dearly. He enlisted in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. Sam was a devout Christian and was involved with various congregations across Central Florida including Calvary Assembly of Winter Park, Florida, First Baptist Church of Orlando, Florida, and Mosaic Church in Oakland, Fl. Sam was a member of CEO Space, once was co-owner of Consumer Carpets with his late father, Hugh Wayt, Jr. His mother is Patricia Rogers (Cory), but we have been unable to find her. In addition to his late father Hugh Wayt Jr. he was preceded in death by his younger brother Daniel (Danny) Wayt. Sam' entire life was focused upon Jesus Christ and he would tell everyone what the Lord had done in his life, and where and what He had brought him through.
