Funeral services for Mr. Richard Thomas Seaman who died April 5th in Clermont, Florida, will be held at 11:00am on Friday April 12th, 2019 at Florida National Cemetary - 6502 SW 102nd Avenue Bushnell, FL 33513.

Richard was a long time resident of Melbourne Beach, FL with his wife Erika ("My Girl") who died in 2003. He then moved to Montverde, FL where he enjoyed family and the outdoors. He served as a Technical Sargent in the Air Force, where he retired after 20 years of service. In his years of service he traveled the world, and had significant duties in Germany during the Berlin Air Lift, this is where he met his wife Erika and also married. He brought her back to the United States where they started a life and family together. Richard also retired from Harris Corporation of 20 years where he served in many roles, most notebly as a Technical Writer for mission critical systems. He also served as a consultant to Grumman Aeronautics in Melbourne, Fl for several years into retirement.

He was born January 20th, 1929 in Akron, Ohio, and lived in the area until he joined the Air Force after graduating from McKinely High School at age 17.

Richard is survived by his daughter Janean Gifford of Coconut Creek Fl., and son Mark Seaman of Montverde Fl. The grandchildren include, Laura, Samantha, Amy, Jeffrey and one great grandson Jason.
