Obituary

Richard Allen Piotraczk, age 75, of Davenport, Florida, passed away on January 21,2023 at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Rick was born in Flint, Michigan on July 12, 1947. His parents were Thelma Henderson Piotraczk and Stanley Joseph Piotraczk. He lived in Flint until moving to Florida in 2018.

In 1965, Rick enlisted in the US Army. He was stationed in Germany for part of the time and honorably discharged in 1968. Beginning in 1970, Rick was employed by General Motors at AC Spark Plug in Flint, where he retired in 1996. He was the proud owner of Billiards Specialists from 1984-2006. On March 15, 1975 he married Betty Pastorino in Flint, Michigan.

Rick's favorite activites included playing poker and pinochle with friends, watching the History Channel, going out to eat, and spending time with the guys "up North". He always looked forward to visits from family and friends. He loved the companionship of the many family pets throughout his life.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Piotraczk, son Christopher (Jessica) Piotraczk of Florida, daughter Molly (Patrick) Howard of Alabama and brother Robert (Kathy) of Michigan. Rick was lovingly referred to as Great Grandpa to Paisley Surber, Grandpa to Natalie Surber, Hannah McKenzie and Nicholas Piotraczk and Grandpa Bootsie to Amelia Howard.

Services will be held at St. Faustina Church,1714 US Highway 27, Clermont, Florida on Friday, January 27th, at 10am.
