Richard Albert Lechner, 78, Clermont, passed away February 23, 2013. He was born February 2, 1935 in Cleveland, OH son of Nettie Sternicki & Arthur Lechner. He served in the US Army & received his BS in agriculture from Ohio State University. A local resident since 1983 from Cleveland, he worked at Walt Disney World as a fishing guide where he received perfect attendance recognition and was a member of American Legion. His brothers Arthur & Philip Lechner preceded him in death. Surviving is his former wife & mother to his children, Marge Pitts Lechner; children Richard Michael Lechner, New Orleans, LA; Andrew John Lechner, Clermont; Matthew Arnold (Ann Marie) Lechner, Westlake, OH; Susan Marie Lechner Carlin, Marino Valley, CA & Christopher Allen Lechner, Ocala.



The family will hold a private service with inurnment to be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
