Richard E. Kirby beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend unexpectedly passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 61.

Richard, the son of James and Linda Kirby, was born on April 19, 1964, in Clermont, Florida. Richard was a lifetime resident of Mascotte, Florida. He worked for the city of Mascotte for 25 years and 10 years with the city of Clermont. Richard was known as a nice and very sweet person who loved to tease people. Richard sure was a jokester. Anyone who knew Richard knew he loved scratching lottery tickets. If you ever seen him at the store with his head down, you knew he was scratching a lottery ticket.

Richard is preceded in death by his father James Kirby. He is survived by his loving mother Linda Kirby, his son Mitchell Kirby, two grandsons Destine Kirby and Noah Kirby, his loving sister Judy (Kirby) Roberts, two nieces Lisa (Skeeter) Scarbrough and Miranda (Michael) Teachout, His great-niece Haley Boyd and great-nephew Chase Scarbrough and his great-great nephew Hayston Scarbrough. Richard will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
