Richard Alan Harding

July 8, 1959 - February 13, 2022

Richard Alan Harding, 62 of Clermont, FL passed away after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday, February 13, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. Rick is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Harding; step-daughters, Alicia McNabb & Amy Martorelli (Chris); grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Alex, & Mason; sisters, Donna Lovas and Kathy Bixler; brother, Mark Harding; nieces and nephews; and countless dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland P. Harding and Rose Miligan.

Rick was born on July 8, 1959 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He had a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from Florida Institute of Technology in Orlando, FL, Certified Engineering Operations Executive (CEOE) & Certification in Pool and Spa Maintenance/Management from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio, Certification in Refrigeration and HVAC systems since 1990, Member of the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association, Engineers Counsel, Assist chairman during 2018 & 2019, and an active member for the past 16 years. Rick resided in Florida for 20 years and married Bonnie in 2004. He was employed as a project manager at Walt Disney World's Swan & Dolphin Marriott Resort. Rick enjoyed volunteering with projects at Give Kids The World. He loved football especially Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns, golf, fishing, boating, traveling, friends, family, and his dog Abby. We will carry his memory in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM and the funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 18 at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W Minneola Ave, Clermont, FL 34711 . A graveside service will be held at 2:15 PM on Friday, February 18 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 801 East Avenue Clermont, Florida 34711.
