IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard Paul
Giuffre
August 11, 1982 – November 4, 2024
Richard was born in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of eight, he moved to Florida where he attended school and played football, baseball and the clarinet. Richard spent several years as an extra on many TV shows and movies. He then completed school and graduated from Liberty High School.
Richard attended EMT and phlebotomy classes then became employed at Holmes Regional Hospital working in the lab, not only did he bring laughter to his department he was so loved by doctors and patients. He was always requested by both, especially those with young children, as his gentle touch and patience brought comfort to all.
Richard loved to tinker and fix things. He became an amazing locksmith. He then worked at a large car company where they sent him to Texas to learn key programing. After returning he would travel to many dealerships, providing his services, and as always went above and beyond.
Richard's love for the church and the Lord was such a big part of his life. It wasn't till years later that he found his true calling when he became employed at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont, Florida. He was in charge maintenance, setting up displays, putting in pews, fixing and helping the church in any way needed. This truly was his calling and his happiest times. Richard not only helped with masses and church services, but his beautiful daughter Kayden also became an altar girl.
Richard had a love for cooking, family gatherings, football games and made the best Thanksgiving dinners. His happy place was home being surrounded by his fiancé, Charlene, his daughter Kayden, and all their furry friends. He held a special place in his heart for animals. As they all felt his love.
Richard is survived by his fiancé Charlene Merritt, his daughter, Kayden Losada, his mother, Anita DeFelice and stepfather Frank DeFelice, his brothers, Joseph DeFelice, and Anthony and wife Nikki Giuffre and their children Leo, Lucky, Lily and Laniyah, his aunt and Uncle, Avis and Mike Amato and their sons Mike Amato and Joe Amato, Niece Destiney Giuffre, and uncle Vincent Giuffre and aunt Mary Ellen Wallenberg. He was welcomed into the heavens by his father Salvatore Giuffre and his brother Thomas Giuffre.
