Mr. Richard John Fessel, age 82, of Ocoee, died Sunday, January 3, 2021.  Richard was born March 17, 1938 in Amelia, Ohio and joined the Air Force at 17. After leaving the Air Force, he moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida where he owned a grocery store and butcher shop. He moved to Atlanta, GA in 1973 where he eventually started his own successful employee benefits brokerage company.

Richard's hobbies included golfing, grilling the perfect barbeque and any DIY home project.  He was passionate about education, cars and tinkering with engines.

He is survived by his sister Kathy of Vero Beach, FL; daughters Judy (David) of Clermont, FL, Melissa of New York, New York; grandchildren Jeremy (Katherine) of Macon, GA, Rachel (William) of Atlanta, GA, Whitney (Andrew) of Clermont, FL and Austin of FL, as well as three great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Virginia; his wife, Lorraine E. Fessel and his daughter, Cyndi Graves Harber.
