Richard Charles Christie, 81, Mount Dora, FL passed away July 12, 2012 at The Villages Hospice House. He was born March 28, 1931 in New Baltimore, MI son of Francis Christie & Madelyn Goslyn. A US Army veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict and was a retired banker. He was a 25 year central Florida resident and member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Korean War Veterans Association Chapter 169 & American Legion Post 35. His step-son Michael Fabiszak preceded him in death as did his four siblings. Surviving is his wife Judy Perlinski Christie; children Stephanie Carrion & husband Dr. Timothy Carrion, Owings Mill, MD & Michelle Chrisite, Chicago, IL; grandchildren Max Carrion & Trask Frisone; step children Mark Fabiszak, Apopka; David Fabiszak & wife Cindy, Eustis & Amy Roney & husband Matt, Apopka; step-grandchildren Matthew Fabiszak, Chelsea Theobald & husband Jon, Cassidy & Jake Roney & step-great-grandson Lucas Theobald.



Mass of the Resurrection for Richard Christie will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, celebrated by Very Reverend Robert E. Webster. Further service & burial will be in New Baltimore, MI.
