Rebecca Margaret Steed (80)

November 13, 1941 to December 9, 2021

Our beloved mother, Rebecca, went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven on Thursday, December 9, 2021. She is survived by her three sons, Allan Michael, Zachary, and Clayton. She also has a very special and close relationship with her grandson, Sawyer. Her younger surviving siblings are William Hall, Sydney Byrd, Charles Hall, and Mark Hall. She was preceded in death by her little sister Jane, many years ago. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She was a Godly Christian woman who studied her Bible very often and set examples for the rest of us to strive toward in our study of the Lord's Word. She loved going to church and singing along as frequently as she was able. Mom showed kindness to everyone and enjoyed speaking to new people. She loved working in the garden and being outdoors too.

She was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida and loved the ocean. She lived and raised her three sons in West Palm Beach for more than 25 years while being married to Allan T. Steed. At the end of 1992 she moved to Clarksburg, West Virginia, where she fell in love with the mountains and the people. She completed her college degree and graduated in her late 50's and continued to learn and study new things for the remainder of her life.

Her grandson brought new life to her and they adored one another and cherished every moment that they had together. We will look to the night sky to find her among the stars. Her life burned so brilliant with the spirit of the Lord and we will see her again.
