Rebecca Lynn (Bowles) Purdom passed away March 11, 2021 at AdventHealth Orlando, Florida. She was born December 9, 1959 in Danville, Illinois to Wilbur Bowles and Judith (Rosnett) Bowles. Rebecca was a graduate of Oakwood High School's class of 1978. She moved to Florida in 1981. Rebecca worked at Kmart as the Automotive Bookkeeper and in the general office until 2000. She then spent the next 14 years as a sales person for Badcock Furniture.

On September 17, 1988 she married Robin D. Purdom in a ceremony in Danville, Illinois. She was a resident of Minneola, Florida from 1981 until her passing.

She is survived by her loving husband Robin, son Grant A. Purdom, sister Kay Miller of Danville, Illinois, nieces Dawn Vanvalkenberg and Bobbie Donalson also of Danville, Illinois, great nephews Christian Donalson and Brett Vanvalkenberg and great-great nephew Brantley Donalson.

She was proceeded in death by her parents. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Services will be at Becker Funeral home in Clermont, Florida. Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2021 at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11am.
