Rebecca Falero

July 30, 1960 - July 25, 2025

Rebecca Falero was born on July 30, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York. On July 25, 2025, just days before her 65th birthday, she passed away peacefully in her sleep and went home to be with the Lord. She lived a life marked by purpose, faith, and deep devotion to her family, her community, and her calling.

From a young age, Rebecca embodied determination, independence, and ambition. Her professional journey began as an Executive Assistant on Wall Street, where she quickly distinguished herself with her strong work ethic. Eventually, she felt called to serve in the church, where she assisted her beloved uncle, Pastor Luciano Padilla. It was during this season of service that she discovered her true passion—teaching, and decided to pursue a career in education.

Rebecca went on to earn her Master's Degree with honors, laying the foundation for what would become a remarkable 30-year career as an educator. Her love for learning and compassion for her students left an indelible mark on countless lives.

Rebecca was not only a dedicated educator, but also a loving wife, devoted mother and faithful servant of Christ. She was married to the love of her life, Daniel Falero for 38 years. Together, they built a strong and faith filled home and raised two beloved children, Damaris and Daniel, who were the pride and joy of her life.

In addition to her immediate family, Rebecca is survived by her loving mother Esther Soto, and her two brothers, Alex Burgos and Ruben Soto, all of whom she cherished deeply.

Rebecca will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generous spirit, and the strength with which she led her life. She touched countless hearts with her kindness, wisdom and grace. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on with the many hearts she touched along the way.
