Obituary
Mr. Ramon Gonzalez Lopez, of Groveland, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the age of 71.
Ramon was born to parents Ramon Gonzalez and Ana Lopez on August 29, 1945 in Ponce, PR. He grew up as the eldest of six brothers and sisters. He met his wife Norma Gonzalez (Pinela) in 1970 and married her on March 4, 1995. Ramon started working as a general assembler for Kenyon Marine in 1975 where he worked for 35 years until he retired. A long time resident of New Haven, CT, he moved to Groveland FL in 2013. He loved fishing, bowling and his family was his passion.
Ramon is survived by his son Ramon & wife Michelle Quinones, daughter Mercedes Marquez, step-son Angel Quinones and step-daughter Yvette Quinones; brother Hector Rios, sisters Sandra & Saida Rios; seven grandchildren Jose, Tobias, Nelson Alex, Genesis, Michelle, Katherine, Alessandra and a host of family and friends. He will be greatly missed but will live on in the hearts of many.
