Obituary

Ralph "Dale" McCall was born on November 1, 1946, and passed away peacefully at his home in Clermont, Florida on March 15, 2024. Dale was born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida by his parents Myrtle and John McCall. He graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1964. After attending one year at Indian River College, he enlisted in the United States Army and served as a 1st Lieutenant during the Vietnam War. His honorable combat service with the 1st Infantry Division from 1967-1968 merited his promotion to Captain upon return to the United States. He also came home to marry "Kiwi" bride and love of his life, Noelene, whom he met in Australia while on R&R during Vietnam. Dale and Noelene were married for 55 years. Civilian life started in 1970 when he began a career in the insurance industry. Dale was a successful and well respected businessman, devoted husband and father, adored grandfather and great-grandfather. Dale was a faithful follower of Jesus and gladly served in all the churches he attended, the last being Living Hope Church in Clermont.

Dale is survived by his wife, Noelene; children Angie McFarlane (David), Andrew McCall (Tina), Allison Reiser (Mike); also his eight grandchildren, Erin Adkins (Trenton), Brett McFarlane (Elise), Betsy McFarlane, Micah McFarlane, Maddie McCall, Liam McCall, Samantha Reiser, and Raelee Reiser; and great grandchildren, Riley and Titus Adkins and Lily McFarlane. He is also survived by his six siblings, Ronnie McCall (Lottie), Jerry McCall, Joann Bond, Larry McCall (Flora), Sandra Jones (Bruce), and Michael McCall (Janine).

A Memorial Service in honor of Dale's life will be held April 7 at 1:30 pm at Living Hope Church in Clermont, Florida. The address of the church is 950 7th Street, Clermont, FL 34711.

The family will gather at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery for military honors at a future time.
