Ralph Owen Butler, 71, Clermont, FL passed away Monday, August 1, 2011. Born in Vincennes, IN on November 29, 1939, he moved to Clermont in 1972 from Decker, IN. All his life he worked in the produce & citrus business. He had two fruit stands near Clermont. For 33 years he & his family traveled to Michigan where they ran a wholesale produce market. He worked hard all his life & had great success in all his business ventures He never took the time to pursue a hobby but enjoyed his work & traveling, especially to Las Vegas. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church . His son Scott preceded him in death at age 17 in 1986 as did his brother Ronald Butler in 2002 and his mother & father Pauline & Hershel Butler & step-father Raleigh Bedell. Surviving is his wife of 45 years Ruth Ann Pahmeier Butler , daughter Lisa (David) Davidson and grandchildren Zackary & Delany Davidson, ages 8 & 2 all of Clermont; sister Billie (Dexter) Bloebaum, Decker, IN; many nieces & nephews. .



The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 6-8 PM. The funeral service for Ralph Butler will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the Becker Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
