Rajama, fondly known as Rajo or Aunty Rajo died at her residence in Minneola, Florida on Sunday, August 16, 2020. Rajo was born on Plantation Rose Hall, Canje, Berbice Guyana on July 1, 1940 and lived in Canefield Settlement.  She migrated to the United States in March 1981 and lived in New York until 2018, when she moved to Florida.

She was the wife of the late Ramalo, mother of Ronald, Mohini, Pamela, Jerry, Maureen, Boy, and Lenno. Grandmother of Michelle, Jasmine, Kyle, Steven, Melissa, Chris, Kevin, Janet, Roger, Jannine, Margaret and Ryan. She was also the great grandmother of 3.
