Obituary
Rachel Ann Dierking age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on July 21, 2015 in Orlando, Florida. She was born to the late Arthur and Wilma Rampke of Boone Grove, Indiana. Rachel married the love of her life, the late Edwin John Dierking, in 1954 in Indiana and after their son, John was born in 1957, the young family moved to Orlando. Family, friends (and cats) were Rachel's passion and delight. She loved a party, playing cards, dance and traveling. Rachel was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church since 1959 and volunteered for many years with PTA and church ladies guild activities. She is survived by her son, John and his wife Jeannie; granddaughter, Sarah; grandson Kyle and her extended family, Myra, Keith, Michael, Nadine, Robin and Meghan.
Arrangements are:
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, July 27, 2015 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1515 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando, Florida followed by a reception in the church parlor. Interment will follow the reception at Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:30 AM until 11:00 at the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, the Arthritis Foundation or the Cat Protection Society, Sorrento, Florida. (beckerfamilyfuneral.com)
