Obituary
Prentice Tyndal, Chief, to all who knew him, age 85, Clermont passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 peacefully. Prentice was the longest serving Police Chief in the United States giving 39 years of service to Clermont before retiring on August 23, 1996. Lora, the love of his life preceded him just eight days ago, on February 10, 2018. They were blessed to have shared 68 years of marriage beginning on February 4, 1958.
Surviving are sons Michael Tyndal of Union Springs, AL and Donnie Tyndal of San Francisco, CA; 2 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren.
