When I come to the end of my life

When the sun has set for me,

I want smiles and love and a sun-filled room,

Don’t cry for a soul set free.

Miss me a little, but not for long,

And not with your head bowed low.

Remember the love

that we have shared,

Miss me, but let me go.

This is a journey we all will take,

And each of us goes alone.

It’s all a part of God’s wonderful plan

A step on the road to home.
