Policarpio "Papo" Arzola, 52, Winter Haven, died September 22, 2013. He was born January 11, 1961 in Valverde Mao, Dominican Republic son of the late Lourdes Jimenez & Policarpio Arzola. He served in the US Army and was a Central Florida resident since 2001 from Connecticut, was a prep chef at Walt Disney World & recently earned his bachelor's degree. He was a Christian and volunteered his time to feed the homeless. Surviving is his son Nicholas Ege, serving in the US Army in Afghanistan; sisters Jenny (Juan Melo) Arzola, Clermont & Emily (Guildo Pijuan) Arzola, Orlando; half-sister Sandra Arzola, NY, NY; nieces & nephews Miguel Martinez, Fort Lauderdale; Jennifer, Ginna & Angie Pijuan & Jeremiah Carrasquillo, all of Orlando. The funeral service for Papo Arzola will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2013 in the Becker Chapel. Bishop Thomas Odom, Ocoee Church of God will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
