Phyllis Rook Phipps, 91, Clermont, FL passed away January 31, 2012 at the Mike Conley Hospice House. She was born June 16, 1920 in Clermont, daughter of C. Roy Rook & Mary Davidson Rook. A former resident of Salem, MA, she relocated back to Clermont in 1992 from Salem where she was a physical education teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hardy Phipps, son Todd Alan Phipps and 2 siblings. Surviving are her sons Charles David Phipps & Steven C. Phipps & his wife Eileen Walsh-Phipps all of Salem; granddaughters Sarah & Emily & sister Caryl Curran, Sattelite Beach, FL.



The memorial service for Phyllis Phipps will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 3, 2012 in the Becker Chapel. Reverend Gary Edwards will officiate.
