Phyllis Rae Herdtfelder's Obituary
Phyllis Herdtfelder nee Strachan journeyed into the arms of her beloved husband Don on June 22 at their lake side home in Clermont, Florida. Born next to a coal mine in Sonman Pennsylvania on December 7, 1935. Don and Phyllis' life was a testimony of a life well crafted and filled with determination, hard work, success, laughter and most importantly love. Her wisdom and sage advice will be greatly missed by everyone. The daughter of George and Florence Lehman Strachan, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Donald Sauvage Herdtfelder Sr. and their son Richard Alan Herdtfelder, brother George Strachan Jr. and sister Linda Brickner. She is survived by sons Donald Jr. of Clermont FL, William and wife Cathy of Winchester, VA and their three children, Tyler, Ana and Hannah. Phyllis' love of her "posies" was well known by those that knew her but in lieu of sending flowers please consider donating to The Salvation Army and the cancer organization of your choice.
