Obituary
Phillip Edward Silkey, age 69, Clermont, passed away June 3, 2016. He was born November 9, 1946 in Cleveland, OH son of the late Irene Smoots & Russell Silkey. On April 5, 1969 he was united in marriage to Karen Elizabeth Bohn in Brunswick, OH and was a Florida resident since 1973 from there. He worked 20 years for Lake County in the sign department followed by 10 years for the city of Clermont as a sign technician. He enjoyed golfing & riding his golf cart around his King's Ridge community in retirement. Survivors include his wife Karen; daughter Kristy Morgan, Daytona Beach; granddaughters Madisyn & Briana Morgan; brother's Russell (Gail) Silkey, Olmstead Falls, OH & Terry (Alicia) Silkey, Winter Haven; nieces Heather Silkey and Tara Silkey and nephew Bryan Silkey.
The family will have a gathering at the King's Ridge Clubhouse on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 1:30 - 4:30 PM & suggest memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. (www.beckerfamilyfuneral.com)
