On Sunday, October 13 2013, the soul of Phillip Matthew Adams was called by Our Lord, Jesus Christ, to His Heavenly home, to join his father Carl, his mother Iris, and sister Carolyne. Phillip was a devoted catholic and volunteer at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont Fl. He was born in Windsor Ontario Canada, on February 11 1949, and is survived by his wife Sharon (nee.Meehan), his daughter Lauren of St. Augustine, FL, his brothers Paul and Timothy and sister Lori (Bondy) of Windsor. He was married to Sharon for 43 happy years. After they moved to Florida, from Canada in 1980 Phillip worked as a printer in Apopka and Lake Mary. He was a loving son-in-law to Arthur and Beatrice Meehan, and a cherished brother-in-law to Sharon' brothers and sisters: Art, Wayne, Michael, Lorraine, Donna, Robert, John and Brian. He was the best an uncle could be to all of his nieces and nephews here, and in Canada. We all had many happy times together. After retiring in 2012, and with his kind heart, he focused his spare time on his duties at Blessed Sacrament Church. He loved the outdoors, his garden, and cycling the Van Fleet Trail. He is truly missed already, but we are all consoled that his kind heart is now joined with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. There will be a viewing at Becker Funeral Home in Clermont, on Thursday, October 17, 5-8 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (Hwy.50) in Clermont, on Friday, October 18th at 10:00 AM. BECKER FUNERAL HOME, Clermont, FL 34711.
